Remote Group Dog Training Classes

*Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have switched to strictly offering remote classes at this time*

Are group classes really the same? When people think about taking group-training classes with their furry friends, they generally envision a facility lined with eager dogs and guardians ready to learn. Demonstrations during instruction-time and mounds of support are just a few things people expect. Now that COVID-19 has pushed everything online, it can feel a bit like you’re losing out on the experience you were looking for.

But we’ve discovered that remote training doesn’t have to leave something to be desired! We really wanted to foster the same kind of experience while prioritizing what’s most important-keeping everyone safe- and that was such an exciting adventure for us! We recognized that the in-person experience may not be able to be completely replicated but have discovered that not only can we still accomplish the same training goals we would be doing otherwise for our clientele, virtual training has some pros that you can’t get with in-person classes!

So what are some of the benefits to remote classes?

  • A private 30-minute session with the trainer once weekly.

  • An environment that is more conducive to learning: the comfort of your own home. (Yes, this is great for you, but even more amazing for your furry friend!)

  • No travel required, save on time, fuel, and avoid weather problems.

  • 45 minutes of instruction during classes with 15 minutes of Q & A to close each session out – once weekly.

  • Great for dogs or cats with all types of personalities and energy levels!

  • Email support with the instructor in-between classes for questions.

  • Dogs or cats with existing behavior hurdles such as reactivity can learn in a focused and safe environment.

  • Dogs or cats of any age can join.

  • Makes it easier to learn how to apply training in real-life.

  • Can be done with a smart phone or laptop as long as it has a camera.

Know any cats that need help with basic manners? They're welcome to join too! We specialize in training both cats and dogs.

Choose Your Own Adventure Virtual Courses—All Ages!

These 3-week remote courses are designed to set dog or cat guardians on the path to success by teaching strong foundations and important skills that stick well throughout the dog or cat's life. Each course offers an hour of group time as well as 30 minutes of private training with you and the instructor each week.

All courses are designed to cover topics and cues that promote safety, increase impulse control, improve human-animal communication, foster polite manners, and guided practice with how to navigate social situations. Courses do not need to be taken in order. The first step is to register and attend orientation. Guardians only need to attend orientation once! Orientations are offered multiple times per week as needed to registered clients and not only cover what you need to get started, but also provide tips and tricks for common behavior hurdles that you can implement right away!
